I just checked my credit which had two wonga defaults last week. Both have been settled in march 2014, so before the announcement. They have both been changed to satisfactory on 14th October!!!!! My credit file was perfect apart from these two defaults, so it is really helping me!!!! Did it happen to anyone else? thanks!!

That's good - however just checking they do show 'satisfactory' - i.e. up to date, rather than 'satisfied'?0

yes it says 'satisfactory' on both and my credit rating went from fair to very good!.
it's not related to the FCA announcement, as the amendments will be made early November for affected customers.
I can explain why they removed two defaults as it might help other people.
They removed the defaults after sending a complaint by email and explaining them that I defaulted due to the high interests and charges. I also mentioned that following the FCA announcement, I have been advised by solicitors and that they will deal with the complaint if the defaults are not removed immediately. I did not expect a reply from Wonga, but they removed the defaults two days after my email!0
