Latest Firefox update something wrong

I had an update for Firefox today, which was OK'd by Norton. I have gone in to one session, and then opened another session to check on something.
However, the screens look different after the update, all of my favourites are intact, but the sessions freeze when I try to shift between them, meaning that I have to close them down via Task Manager.
Has anyone else had problems with the latest update?

Someone suggested trying palemoon as a replacement to FF
Any thoughts??0 -
Palemoon has been great until recently (last few days). For some reason I'm not getting the correct google search layout. It doesn't give the correct images layout (The newer large ones), but, it gives the old style layout....Small images and tools in the left hand column.....I've gone back to FF until I sort it...Might be just mine, nothing found so far online.
Edit.....Found the fault....Its palemoons fault...looking at the work arounds...
Edit 2..It seems that Palemoon has ceased using Firefox compatibility" portion in it's User Agent identification string. This causes some websites not to recognize the browser as being up to date. It results in the website serving nothing or another version of its self for the older browser. This, apparently, is the fault of the websites. There are workrounds if anyone can be bothered, but, IMO they have given users hassle that they didn't have to. So, I'm back to FF until it's fixed.
Or, might try Waterfox again......;)Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

OP, which version of Firefox is it that you're having trouble with? I updated to 33.0 yesterday and it seems to be fine, I can't actually see anything different to the previous version.0

I'm on version 56 and its nearly stable. I reckon they'll have it cracked by version 83 (ie, next week)0
