Can an Executor to a will pay for an admin assistant to help with their duties?

Success!! I reminded the two awkward beneficiaries of a few 'gifts and loans' they had received over recent years and these had not been included in the account. All beneficiaries now agree that these 'gifts and loans' are excluded from the account and they have agreed to donate 5% of the estate value as 'executors compensation' to cover admin work done by a third party on my behalf!

Any costs that arise from administration should be invoiced and charged to the estate and paid along with the other debts before the estate is distributed.

If they are going to give you 5% of the estate, you will need to do a deed of variation.
