Interparcel threading court action
Comments
-
I used Interparcel to send an item which they managed to damage, make five missed return deliveries and then eventually lost. So I took them to court, they employed solicitors who called me an embarrassment, frivolous and a mischief maker.
They also threatened to claim their 'reasonable' legal fees back if I didn't achieve judgment.
At the hearing, the judge called the companies handling of this consignment an embarrassment and passed judgment against them. They paid me £224 and their legal team £460 and it's another CCJ against interparcel.
I don't think they really care when their extremely poor service, using the delightful Citylink affects people.
Interparcel, are a disgraceful company.0 -
In the same way a petrol station will not entertain an under fill as they are regularly calibrated etc.
The thing here is its only going to be a failure if its massively obvious - e.g. it weights something of 1kg at 80 x 80 x x 80 etc etc.
It will not be slightly out, it will either be out by a lot or not at all.
Amazon (via their FBA service which charges for weight and volume) once decided our 9 gram item was actually 3.5kg using a cubiscan. They then charged us that rate on many, many orders.
They re-measured it and refunded us quite a bit of money.
Errors exist.
And they are unlikely to go to court for £19.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
