How much should I take?

I know this is a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" question, but I'm hoping someone can at least give me an idea.
I'm looking at a 7 day B&B coach trip holiday, to Belgium and Germany, at the beginning of next month.
Roughly how many Euros would I need to be taking?

Give us a few clues!! Will you be paying for midday and or evening meals? Buying presents? bringing back cheap ciggies?
For all of the above a debit or credit card would be fine, so not much need for cash0 -
Depends on where you would eat (out or in), what price ranges, beer, trips etc. Put down a ballpark figure and hey presto!0

It will be a similar price to the UK. Work out what you'd spend if you did the stuff you want to do here, and it should be about right.0 -
In that case, the equivalent of £50 per day, should be more than enough.0

They have ATMs in Belgium. You could get a card that will not charge commission or hammer you for charges and simply withdraw cash as you need it. Just remember to pay it off as soon as you get home.
Here's the MSE take on it:
