Hi,
A friend who has a 3 yr old ( will be 4 at Xmas) has asked me to come up with some ideas and wants some help teaching her little one to cook. Although I love cooking I don't have any ideas for biscuits and have no kids so I'm a bit lost.
Does anyone have some ideas as the recipes need to be cheap and easy with not too much mess involved as their kitchen is small.
Thanks:)

321 cookies are super easy I make them with my toddler all the time
300g plain flour
200g butter/marg
100g sugar
mix together, roll into balls and flatten slightly and bake 180 approx 10 mins
you can add flavouring/choc chips if you wantthis year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
Yep 321 biccies here too, can also add a good spot of ginger and roll out and use cookie cutters which is even more fun for the kiddies.Bossymoo

Cheers, mandco and bossymoo that's an easy one to remember.
This might sound silly, but do I rub in the fat and flour and then add sugar or cream the fat and sugar and then add the flour:o ?
Thanks:)0 -

put 1 tbs milk and 1 tbs honey in a jug and warm in microwave for 20 seconds, stir and add itsp of bicarbonate of soda, cream 4 oz butter with 3 oz sugar until well mixed, add the honey mixture and 6 oz of plain flour and mix in. roll into about 18 balls and flatten slightly onto baking trays, cook at about 180 degrees c. until golden brown, cook on a rack, and i drizzle them with melted chocolate but they are lovely without0 -
