want to transfer photos/data from old phone

Hi
I have an old huawei ascend g300 handset, I have some photos on there that I wish to transfer as I'm going to get a new phone.


Any ideas on a quick way of :


1. moving all my old photos to either a laptop or new phone (inew V8)
2. moving in a short step all my contacts from old handset to new
3. what about texts? (some have sentimental reasons for wanting to keep them) most I'm happy to ditch


any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Are they on your google account??

Can you put them on the SD card??

Texts? I don't know, sorry.
