Where is the parcel I sent???

I have been on the trail of a parcel I sent on 4 Oct from a Parcel2Go shop using my Hermes. (eBay sale)
The parcel looks to be still in transit though there was "Signature from Customer" on 6 Oct then in transit again.!!!!!

Just been on Parcel2go live chat and they are trying to find out from "my Hermes what is happening.

In the meantime they advise me to submit a precautionary claim for loss in case the parcel is not found.

The problem is - the Customer has NOT CONTACTED ME to say the parcel is missing. I have just been checking up for my own peace of mind.

Maybe it has been delivered !!! What do I do now? Can anyone advise?

I wouldn't bother. It might give them ideas.

Bad advice. Just wait until they contact you. Its possible the parcel has been delivered and the tracking is messed up.

That's what I as afraid of so I haven't done anything apart from contacting Parcel2Go.

I am a bit bothered now that the email from them wants me to start a claim (they are still looking into it with my Hermes) and the tracking on both sites is still stuck on 6 Oct. One says delayed for 2 days and the other says signed by customer and then in transit again.

I don't want to start a claim until it has been sorted at their end because what if it has been delivered???

Still no word from customer that it hasn't been delivered.
By the way, I am a private seller not a business.
  • Contact myhermes through their facebook page giving them the parcel reference number. They have always got back to me within 15 minutes.

My Hermes won't deal with it as I bought the service through Parcel2go (as explained in OP)

As a few of you have advised - I have decided to sit tight until I know for definite that there is a problem. Like you all said, why look for problems.

    Thanks! all.
