Choosing a credit card

I'm wanting to get a credit card but it's very daunting. I will be wanting to pay off the amount spent each month before any charges are incurred. I basically don't want to pay anything. Any perks an added bonus. Which card would be best?

You're best off reading all the guides, doing the soft checks and seeing what you can apply for first.

Sounds like you want a Cashback credit card:

Set up a direct debit to pay the full balance but remember to pay it yourself until the direct debit is set up.
When you first get the card write down everything you spend to make sure you know what your balance is going to be before it arrives!Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
Cashback sounds good. Is there one place better than another to get one of these cards?0

I am reading the posted links but I'm still unsure. It's nice to get some additional information via feedback from other forum members.0

If this is your first CC you may not be offered one of the best deals. It's often best to apply to your own bank first as they know how you conduct your financial affairs. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??
