UKCPS - Second letter

Hi Ladies and Gent,
I'm looking for a little bit of advise. I've read through the newbies advise, but I think I'm just confusing myself a little bit.
We (my company - the owners and son have cars that are registered to the company - that they use on a daily basis as their own car) received the first letter on the 11th September for parking without a valid permit or authority on 9th August. (We're in England)
We ignored this letter (went to someone else) I'm now the person in charge of post so obviously would like to deal with it!
We have today got the second letter telling us we can't appeal, need to pay the £100 etc etc etc
I believe I'm meant to still appeal... but I got lost in the acronyms, and other car parking companies, and I'm just a little flustered.
Do I still send the template in the newbies thread? Is there a separate template to send for late appeals? Do I do something different, or follow the same procedure as if it was the first letter?
Thanks for any help guys.

You can send the template in the newbies thread but you can't say the purpose of the letter is 'threefold' (because you are not appealing as a consumer so you cannot 'cancel the contract' like one of the last points says!).
So remove the sentence about threefold and anything about notice of cancellation. You can leave in the drop hands offer.
UKCPS often cancel when they see our template. If not then you can win the POPLA appeal easily by following our examples in 'How to win at POPLA' in post #3 of the sticky thread.
Or name the driver (name and address). And point them here.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
