Getting my stamp paid?

Hi, I had to leave my job over 14 months ago due severe chronic fatigue syndrome. I am slowly improving however I have never bothered trying to claim anything as I have savings over the permitted amount. However I am concerned about my stamp getting paid and wonder if anyone knows if I can do this without claiming ESA?
Thank you Kerry

    In short, no.

If, you worked fulltime as an employed earner before falling sick 14 months ago - June 2013, if your wages were high enough from april-june, you may still qualify for contributory ESA.
This would have been easier with a claim last year.

You may also - if you do qualify for ESA(c) - be able to backdate this three months if your doctor will agree.
