Can anyone help with what to do about Phones for U Care Policy - taken out because of the Trade in Price Promise of at least £100? Insurance company says its nothing to do with them.

What exactly is your problem with the policy?
Do you mean the trade-in price was not given to you?
Do you have anything in writing that supports your claims?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Who is supplying the policy .
If its Phones4U then they are gone and you need to contact P4U administrators with any claim .http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/phones/2014/09/phones-4u-administration-your-rights0 -
Phones4U had its own brokerage which is also in administration but the insurer is still in business and will honour valid claims. In other words your policy is in full force until it comes up for renewal.
Check your policy document for details.0 -
I also have a phones 4u care policy where I get at least £100 towards cost of new phone. Sorry for this but do you mean I will get the money off a new phone, and if I have a phone on the Orange network is it the Orange shop I go to0

no you wont get the promised trade in price, as this was a phones 4 u thing,
however its more than likely your phone will be worth at least that (or maybe more) at the otehr recycle places, for example mine is worth £135 at mazuma but the phones4u promise was only £1000 -
