Lloyds Upheld Claim However...

Just a quick ask from any one else who may have experienced this Lloyds upheld my claim, after an appeal and further investigation, I received offer and further cheque but they have not add interest and deducted relevant tax from amount. Is this general for them or maybe an oversight.
Thank you

  • How do you know they haven't added interest? Do note that tax is only paid on the interest, not the actual refund.

Did you "appeal" direct to the bank or go to the Ombudsman?

I have the calculation on the upheld offer and in the 8% interest box there is no amount as well as in the tax box. They added £36 as a gesture for inconvenience.

I appealled directly to Lloyds who were very helpful and understanding.:o

Anyone wishing to reclaim PPI on a Lloyds loan, feel free to give me a PM

Why would anyone want to send some random and anonymous person on the internet a private message containing personal financial details?

If you have insight or knowledge about PPI complaints, you should share them with everyone on the public forum.

Users should beware entreaties to send private messages as they can often be from posters representing a claim company.
