Windows 8.1 update no access to emails

I'm not a techie so please bear with me.

I was on Windows 8 and had set up my talk talk email account when I first bought the pc.

This week I've updated to 8.1 and my email icon has disappeared. I can now only access my main Talk Talk email account via webmail.

Windows 8.1 appears to only want me to have an Outlook/MSN/hotmail account.

Can anyone give me step by step instructions as to how to set up my talk talk email account again so I can access it from my desktop please?

What email client where you using ??.

Nope not true .

Why not use something like Thunderbird as your email client .
