As I have some classic songs on my30GB I pod, I would like to put these back to my comp--Is this possible? If so how could I do this?

Officially it isnt something that Apple supports but there are plenty of pieces of free software that will do it for you. Unfortunately the files arent stored with a logical naming convention and so whilst you can just browse the contents using Explorer/ Finder the file names are garbage hence using the free software to reinstate meaningful file names/ locate the files you particularly want0
