there are no balackberries ready yet where I live, but I have been picking cherries from the side of the road with no harm so far. I picked them last year as well.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

picked some this morning on a cinder track when hubby and I went on our morning walk. Chopped them up with some strawberries and raspberries from the garden and threw them in a basic muffin mix and scoffed it for breakfast.

We pick blackberries, usually on a "B" road nearby, and make delicious jam, yummm!planing for the future, living for today
