Minor injury, what to do ?

Comments

  • You say yourself in your title that it was a minor injury, stick a plaster on it and get on with life.

She did say a nasty injury resulting in a limp.
  • Put a plaster on it and get on with life?

You have 3 kids, surely they get hurt all the time with cuts and bruises, it is part of life. Use it as a lesson to teach your kids that sometimes things happen and they are minor and we should just move on with life rather than calling in the lawyers over a cut on a knee and an hour delay.

    I wonder which it was?

Jeez, I had forgotten why I decided to curtail my participation on this site years ago !

When I first joined people usually READ posts before replying and would come up with constructive comments. READ the post and replies before ranting.....Seems to me that now "some" people are just interested in trolling stupid flaming comments without even reading what the OP or others have said.

A sad reflection not just on this site but I suppose on society in general.

    Goodbye and farewell.
Education is compulsory, school is not.

You don't seem to like that, so what was your original point?

My primary concern was of course my Daughters health however I was (and am) concerned by the fact that a person running a large hotel was more concerned about replacing a pair of "flares" than he was about the health of my child

    Ahhh..
So if he'd have called for the air ambulance, you'd not be thinking about Compo£ Compo£ then ?

Time is of the essence when you take your kids out of school and return them damaged.

Whilst the OP has subsequently explained their circumstances, so my following comment doesn't apply in this instance, they could just as easily have been from Scotland ... it is currently school half-term this week.

So don't assume everyone else follows the same calendar as you. ;)

My comments were constructive. Kids get cut all the time. My toddler falls down and bashes herself all day long - I teach her thats part of life and growing up and to just get on with it.

I'm not going to teach her it's ok to make a huge fuss every time she falls over in the playground.

Get a pair of jeans out of them by all means but life is too short to take it any further.
