Do you mean it was sold to someone else?
Or just withdrawn as 'sold'. And if it's 'sold', can it be re-sold?
Or did you win it?
I'm still laughing about it to be honest
(Only because I have to be careful with commas and full stops. I have to check everything I bid for just in case I spend 2K on something worth 2p!:rotfl: ) 0 -

Deep breaths.
I must be more confusing than I thought.

seller probably sold the car outside ebay, changed the listing once the car was sold to get a reduced listing fee (original list for £2000, dropped to 2p may have warranted a refund of £x).0

Thanks supernudger. I think I understand now
The story intrigued me, and caught my eye because I've just found out that a close family friend sells cars on eBay!
He must be mad - or rich

If that's what the seller was doing he deserves to be caught out. I can't work out how people are clever enough to work out that they can get a refund of fees by reducing listing price, but can't work out how to close an auction to protect themselves against a bid!
Interesting thread though and a good spot by the OP.

just got a abusive messege from the seller asking what the hell was i doing? can i not see that the title says it was sold 9 times? huh? and that if i was gonna give him a negative feedback he will give me one too. (touchy!)
I told him i did'nt think i could get a car for 2p anyway and why was this still advertise if this was sold anyway? but can i have a good feedback? (cheeky!) and the same in return.
oh well, at least i tried.
I was thinking how should i pay the 2p if i got it last night.0 -
