Babylis curl secret

Want to buy one of these for my daughter's main xmas pressie. I've had a look on Babylis's web site and it says their authorised retailers are :-
Our approved UK retailers for BaByliss Curl Secret are:
- Argos
- Asda
- Boots
- Costco
- Debenhams
- Feelgoodessentials.co.uk
- FeelUnique.com
- Freemans.com
- Isme.co.uk
- John Lewis
- Littlewoods
- Next
- Sainsbury's
- Selfridges
- Superdrug
- Tesco
- Very.co.uk

I don't want to buy from anywhere else as I'm afraid of buying fake goods.

These retail for £120ish.

:xmastree::xmastree::xmastree:Anyone got a code for any of the above shops please?
I love a bargain. Now mortgage and debt free. hurray!!:smileyhea

  • Oooh, is that the one that pulls your hair into the machine-bit and out pops a lovely curl? For some reason it completely freaks me out. With my luck all my hair will get tangled up and broken.

Don't get me wrong: I'm sure they work beautifully, I just get a bit irrational about this stuff.

Isn't there a sub-forum on here somewhere where people share discount codes etc? Might have better luck posting in there.

You might be able to double up clubcard vouchers to buy it. They often include small appliances in the double up before xmas.

I borrowed one from a friend and as long as you put the side that says 'have this side facing your head' the right way it is fine. I've got really thick hair and it only manages small amounts but still worth using.

  • That's a good idea shop-to-drop. I'm not desperately wanting to buy it this week, so that may well be worth waiting for.

    QVC have it for £106.

You could also buy from boots on Xmas shopping nights where you get lots of points.

Or Argos when they have gift cards with purchase over £100.

  • Do you know anyone who works for boots? They've got a double staff discount offer on for the next week. If you know someone who could buy it with their discount that would get you 24% off.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!
  • I've got one and I love it...does make brilliant curls, better than tongs. I got mine on a Boots points night as shop-to-drop said and because it was over £100 got £24 worth of points. I thought because it was just one transaction it would just put the £12 worth of points on so was happy with that!
Only thing I would say is that it's not as easy to use for left handed people (i.e. me) so I try to get someone to help me with it. Really I just need to practice more.

I'm left handed too and had to get my partner to do it for me. He thought I was being a numpty when I said its not designed for lefties so I am relieved its not just me who struggled with it. Great curls though :-)

Ha ha, daughter is right handed. You'd think they'd have thought of that wouldn't you.

I'll have a look at QVC but it's not on Babylis's retailer list. What do people think, QVC still OK? See 1st post with list of retailers.

Coincidently just clicked on QVC and it's on air now. Advanced orders but will get in plenty of time for xmas and on 4 easy payments.

Can't see QVC not being an official stockist as they generally have manufacturers selling direct.

If the easy pays will help you I'd go for it.
