The Philippine reps have always been helpful to me as a seller, the Irish ones not so much in my experience (no racist)0

Once I just made a comment to one of the Irish ones that I feel eBay is too favourable to the buyer, she got pretty angry and started going off about how it's not eBay that's helpful but uk law, it almost felt like she was a shareholder in eBay and had some sort if allegiance to them.0

I think this might be classed as extorting by threatening bad feedback, which is against EBay rules.

Examples that aren't Feedback extortion- Buyer says they will leave negative Feedback or low DSRs unless the seller accepts a return, the return postage is paid for as set out in the seller's listing policy, and this takes place within the period of seller's return policy.
- Buyer pays for the item and waits several weeks for it to arrive. The buyer then tells the seller that if the item doesn't arrive by a certain date, they will leave negative Feedback or low detailed seller ratings.
- Buyer receives an item that is significantly not as it was described in the original listing and asks for a refund within a reasonable period of time, but possibly after the seller's return policy has expired.

I find them all quite helpful, much more so on Live Chat - if you have the time to spare, obviously! - than on the phone. I think with the potential language barrier with the Filipinos, Live Chat seems far easier to get your point across in a succinct and clear manner.
(And you can always scream abuse at the screen to let off some steam and they can't hear you, of course!):rotfl:0
