Thinking about it I feel a bit mean for not wanting to open the doorThe etiquette around here is if the house is not done up then we don't knock but when we lived in the old house in a poorer area it was knock every house:o
Normally I'm prepared for it and my light up ghost and pumpkin come down from the loft  but this year I completely forgot as I've not been shopping much due to feeling unwell

tweets I haven't had any as yet thank goodness;)mind you I noticed a lot of the younger neighbours had lite pumpkins by their gates and decorations around the door and this gives the kids a message I suppose that it's okay to knock. Also lots of fireworks going off too:eek: I will be glad when it's bedtime;)
I can also hear loud music thinking there must be a party in the street
Had four so far and fireworks are getting louder.
