I have had 3 knocks at the door since 6-30pm but have just sat here :D.

Poppy's looked out at them then got back in her bed :rotfl::rotfl:

tweets I haven't had any as yet thank goodness;)mind you I noticed a lot of the younger neighbours had lite pumpkins by their gates and decorations around the door and this gives the kids a message I suppose that it's okay to knock. Also lots of fireworks going off too:eek: I will be glad when it's bedtime;)
I can also hear loud music thinking there must be a party in the street

spent this week redecorating ds3 bedroom as he has always shared and has never had a choice of decor, so now ds2 has moved into the girls room and we had new windows so repair work had to be done thought I would do it nicely. so i thought i would share with the elite what i learnt..
    1. putting hair in a bun is a good idea, but remember its taller than you when on a ladder, white hair is not a good look:o:o
    2. dont answer your mobile with blue gloss on your hands,:p
    3. dont step back of a ladder, you cant fly :(
    4. make sure the wallpaper has dried before painting with a roller, or it might fall of :rotfl:
    5. make sure the person your decorating for wants the change or you may end up with him choosing the same paper and paint you just stripped of  but at least it looks clean and fresh.:rotfl::rotfl:
    6. if making curtains remember the sewing machine needle is very sharp and fingers are soft

hope this helps all budding diy ers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
final idea save money on elite and pay someone else ;)

Please do not offer to come and help with my house!!

For the 3rd time in a row I've been subbed the 1kg currants instead of the 500g pack.....think I'll just keep adding them to every shop.......might be worthwhile checking to see if your store is OOS of the smaller size:)

    That's really cool!
I never could be @rsed dressing up when my kids were wee.

I'm sitting here with a bag of fillers waiting, but no guisers so far :(

The etiquette around here is if the house is not done up then we don't knock but when we lived in the old house in a poorer area it was knock every house:o
