List of "all" items in M with More points offers.

Savvy, thanks for Ms M&M list. Looks like a couple of things that might be worth investigating if looking to buy these anyway:

Colgate Max One Toothpaste (75ml) £4.00 500 points
    Diet Coke (4x1.5L) £5.00 1000 points
    Grants Whisky (70cl) £17.49 3000 points
    Hellman's Lighter Mayonnaise (600g) £2.69 500 points

Do you know if the Youngs 2 Breaded Fish Fillets (300g) £3.50 1000 points were these ones?:

Yes:D. (EDIT: I mean, yes, I know, and yes, they are! Just a clarification there for the fellow Asperger person - the non-Aspergers would have got it right just from my first one word "Yes":rotfl:.)

I know the Grants Whisky is £10 for Sains. Would lose 49p I think, due to cap on total Match and More points.

Max One Toothpaste - I didn't see that as favourable as quite expensive anyway and expensive prices elsewhere (IMO). Then again prices elsewhere may have changed in the last few days or so without me noticing.

    So do I actually

After using up the last £9 to purchase the milk surely you have acquired £39 worth of goods and parted with £12 cash

    Shop 1 Goods £10 pay £10 cash
Shop 2 Goods £10 pay £1 cash (pay £9 voucher)
Shop 3 Goods £10 pay £1 cash (pay £9 voucher)
Shop 4 Goods £9 pay £0 cash (pay £9 voucher)

    Total cash spend £12
    Total goods £39

Told you all I needed coffee :o. It works out even better than I said!

In my defence ... No, no defence, poor maths, sorry. Hangs head in shame, exits forum ...

I don't know this and neither do the staff in Morries :rotfl::rotfl: I asked yesterday because the signs are a bit ambiguous. They say 'save 25% when you buy 6 bottles'. When Ts do it they say '6 or more'. So it's not clear if it's 6 or more or 25% on multiples of 6.
The member of staff I asked said 6 or more, but he checked with another member of staff who said multiples of 6. So I just stuck to 6. I even took my glasses tonight to look at the small print on the signs.....and nothing on there either.

You have got two members of staff there, each taking different interpretations, both of which must, surely, be reasonable?

I got a few Grants when it was £11.00 in Asda, not such a good deal now.
Edit ,just seen Sains price, may have to get some more.

They were small signs that I saw - I almost missed them in my Ms!:D:rotfl:

"Save 25% when you buy 6" - that's a good one (not necessarily a "good" offer but a good one in the sense of you finding some legal loophole for you to use:rotfl::T) - I would have read it as buying in multiples of 6. However, you are right!:) It says "when you buy 6". Well, when we buy 7 we are also buying 6 within that. Therefore, entitled to 25% discount off the whole lot for buying 7 (or 8 or etc.). Moreover, if this was part of a contract term, we are entitled to the most favourable interpretation to the consumer. If there is any ambiguity it is to be read in our favour. I like the technical legal meaning of the words "when", "you" and "buy" which, I feel, is highly important here!

Here's where my literal interpretation comes to advantage!!:D:D:j

EDIT: Go on, tell me, technically, I'm wrong as there's no contract yet! In which case what do the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations have to say on the matter? Not suggesting they is any unfair trading - just wondering what the position under the regulations is as a result of potential ambiguity and what the consumer (us!) is entitled to in order not to be misled, should the consumer (or some reasonable average consumers) take the "7 etc. includes when you buy 6" interpretation. If they are ambiguous and not clear, the solution is with them to be clear - it's not our fault if they are not! We ought to be entitled to any reasonable interpretation of what they have said, ambiguity in our favour if it was reasonable to take that meaning! Which it must be surely, as there is an ambiguity, under which different interpretations are therefore reasonable?

Well technically you are not wrong or right :p iif you took your 7 bottles to the till thinking (due to the signage) that you were entering into a contract that stated 6+ bottles then you'd have a winnable argument. As I said, the signs are so ambiguous, you'd have a winnable argument whatever. You only need to enter the contract with what you believe to be the terms ;) as long as you can back that belief up......which you can with the bad sign.
I could go further and say that Morries are effectively saying you can only have 25% off 6 bottles and anything over that (whether multiples or not) should be full price.......because the signs could also mean that :D

You should have been a lawyer :p.........you're not, are you? :rotfl::rotfl:

Its £10 in Sainsbury's according to MSM. If bought in Ms and it compares, I think it will work out at £7.49 (3,000 bonus points gives you £3 back). I hope I've got that right, if not happy to stand corrected.
