Had a mixed weekend, some friends from London came to stay which was lovely, and gave us a kick up the backside to get some things done round the house, but tinged with sadness because we had to take our very old and much loved dog to the vets to be put to sleep on Friday. All part of being a responsible pet owner, but the hardest one we've had to do. We now have to see how our little one gets on as an only dog without his best mate. :A
