Anyone got an ikea kitchen and if so your thoughts please (on the kitchen) :D

I haven't but my son does, was there when he moved in, my DB a joiner for over thirty years, had to remove it and refit he said it was the worst kitchen he had ever fitted, there was no way to adjust for uneven walls which most kitchens we have fitted has, his opinion was to avoid:(

We have friends who have one and the kitchen they had, had been in 8 plus years and the door fronts became discoloured/ worn. They replaced them all without argument or fuss all FOC. They couldn't believe it. It was like getting a brand new kitchen
    :T:T:T
They have a 25 year guarantee obviously lots of small print I would imagine but after 8 years that sounds good :D

I must have missed what happened to them Emma?

No idea! They were supposed to come last week but then I tracked them and it said 'not delivered- parcel damaged'. So they are re-doing my order and sending out tomorrow with a guaranteed next day service. I'm giving some as a present on Thursday so just as well really!

I have 2 ikea kitchens, 1 in my house which I now rent out and 1 where I live. I really like them. One is 10 years old and the other is 7.

I've had 6 different tenants and all that has gone wrong is one hinge broke.

Thanks for the info ref christmas shoeboxes. DS beavers does these and after reading the leaflet I was uncomfortable with the propaganda in it.

I was looking for more shoeboxes to do
