    A 1Kg carrots 57p, vs Sains. 60p.
    (Not 10% cheaper, so 54p net. on 'right' APG comp.)

    For Northern Ireland:rotfl::rotfl:.

    just a quick query, guys - I quite fancy some soup for lunch and I'd heard there was a Covent Garden coupon offer around at the moment. Does anyone know where the coupon is located? Thankyou

    Loose bananas are definitely cheaper than Tesco value prepacked bananas.

    I put it to the test earlier. Saved about 30p or so easily :D

    my store often has a crate at the back with bagged up loose bananas with a reduced sticker on - even cheaper. Some might be a bit bruised but these are good for making banana cake loves - I wrap and freeze slices of these, useful to always have something to go into a lunch pack :)

    The thing is, it's a public forum. Just like in real life, people will have different views and opinions on different subjects. Anyone who posts here should be aware of that. If someone isn't prepared for a differing opinion, or sometimes a negative reaction then this isn't really the place to post. Im not saying he shouldn't have. Scamps has been around long enough to know he might have got a mixed bag of reactions Im sure.
    It's just life. You can't have a large amount of people in the same place and expect them all to think the same.

    Yes you're right I agree. For me personally, I try to keep my opinions to myself if I think they might hurt someone. Then again if someone hurt an animal or a child I'd feel very strongly about that so wouldn't care about hurting their feelings :think: I don't have strong feelings about what Scamps has done although I don't know the full story. If someone had been hurt I'd have stronger feelings about it but as I see it no one was and nothing was done out of malice.

    I think sometimes though people make judgements about others without knowing the full story. For example "Is stealing wrong?" generally yes, but if that person was stealing food to feed their starving child would that be wrong? IMO no. I've made mistakes in my life and I've done things I'm not proud of so who am I to judge anyone else. I know some people would judge me for some of the things I've done but maybe they'd feel differently if they'd lived in my shoes.
