Thanks Arthien. Another brilliant suggestion :)

Who was it on here who delivered a load of Achica stuff to a hospital? Did you ever find out if it made it there safely? I seem to remember it was chocolates and things for the kids.

    Me too.Picked up £14 of wombles today:D

I may be wrong but I think the only gain is if the matched item has more points on it as well.

    £14, well done. :T

I did notice a few collecting in the whirlwind by the side door. :)

Emma, I see you've already had lots of suggestions, but I thought I'd add that there's also the Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal. Hubby and I do it every year, it's so nice to include a letter or a photo which the child may reply to if they are able. It feels really good to track where in the world your box has gone and to know that a child somewhere will have a box full of what may be the only presents they have ever had :o
A great idea, hadn't heard of this; I'm going to do that this year ... got a few shoeboxes already, in the spare room.

Tweets the dog is picking up you are nervous when another dog

Comes near so is trying to protect you ....

I did exactly the same with my last dog

He was to the word trained.

But I got nervous of other dogs hurting him after a large dog went

For him he wasn't hurt luckily

But the dog walked on command but when I saw other dog He sensed

my nervousness and his heckles would come up and he would bark

So easier said than done but try to portray a strong character

As you are alpha one dog to your dog and as for fireworks I walked

Him out on nights when fireworks started and he ended up not

minding fire works or the noise from them

Love the pictures you post :)

When Bub was a puppy I introduced to him to all manor of noises, from gun shots to fireworks - just sat him on my knee and used the laptop increasing the noise as we went along. He's not phased at all :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Sometimes Poppy sees the other dog before me.

I do try and ignore other dog but I am so frightened of Poppy or other dog getting hurt I cant help it. :(

I wouldn't dare take her out if fireworks where going off would feel awful.

She's been out with me when they have gone off and she tries to escape but luckily she cant anymore I hope .

Glad you like the pics :)
