Will let you know how we get on with it tweets. Medium oos at lots of places so I think it will have to be ebay. Hope I havnt left it too late to be delivered as I think there will be many bonfires next weekend with bf night being midweek xx

Thank you . I am wondering apart from fireworks if it will help with other dogs . When we are out and she sees a dog she got to bark and I am looking out for dogs and taking detours I daren't walk past one if its close with her.

Fireworks have been going off here for past week only when its gone dark and luckily not had that many yet.

Can you not get express delivery ?

Jelly I'm assuming you've not knitted me some gloves for Iceland so my fingers are going to fall off and I shall blame you :p
    No I haven't:o:o:o
But I am going to take up knitting again*, in the New Year; there's a wool shop near me that has a weekly knitting group:)

Now's the time to start planning what you are going to do when you get to a weight you are happy with :) Your plan for maintaining......

I will have to look that up. I am unsure how I maintain it :)

But I will never struggle to fasten my work trousers again :D

I am fully kitted up with an assortment of knitwear that would put Sarah Lund from The Killing to shame :o

Have you got your reading matter sorted out? If not I can recommend the Icelandic crime writers Yrsa Sigurðardottir and Arnaldur Indriðason; and a lot of the Icelandic Sagas are available as ebooks on the Project Gutenberg website.

And although it's set in Scandinavia, the Seamus Heaney translation of 'Beowulf' is stunning, particularly the audiobook of him reading it; it's on youtube, too

    Mortgage-free Glee!
    I agree, they are terrible:(
I'm on the last of the Wilkinson Sword freebies that they gave away at Father's Day (I think) - they last for ages; the current one has 'Glitch Monkey' on it:)
The Morribobs own-brand value ones are very good, too.

We have one that says 35 grand(mortgage left) on which was when Mr B was growing his beard till. By the time it arrived we had gone past that :j

22 to go as of next week. Delighted :)
