I don't tend to agree with taking kids out of school either for holidays, although I can understand why people do it. I guess it depends on the individual circumstances really. There will be times when it's the right thing to do and others when it's not.
Must have been a dilemma for you though :o

I just think it's the holiday companies that need to be taken to task over it instead of all these petitions against schools. The holiday companies are the biggest cause if it.
Yes there will always be unusual circumstances like the one I encountered.

Now DS1 (who came home to help with DS2 tonight) and OH are both unconscious because they were out fishing half of last night  that'll be me doing the clock change on my own then! Selfish pigs! :(

That's me hoovering at 7am tomorrow then  oh and we might need some windows open to let the autumn air in as well ;)

Oh no :( What is it with men when it comes to stuff like this

Don't forget to turn up the choons whilst you're doing the hoovering, there's nothing worse than having your music drowned out ;)

I'll just make it a family occasion. If DS2 and I aren't getting an extra hour in bed......neither is anyone else :D :rotfl:

Looking for nice book to order dad. He really enjoyed TM s recommended book of letters last Xmas so something like that, short things that don't take too much concentration.

Had a day finally getting round to scraping all the tiny flicks of paint from lamitate floor in lounge, moved all furniture so could sit near radiator but didn't fit so moved it all back.

Cos will have to go without a receipt for £50 from mr T as cba.
Brollies arrived from Achcia today, shame mum put in identical order:eek:
Never mind proud she remembered to use discount code.

Got dgs a lovely dress from la rodoute using the 50% off code from hukd as didn't want another account.

Can I put in my request please for the next glitch.
Chocolates and toilet rolls if you please, my attic is finally emptied of its layer of andrex insulation.
Thank you in advance to the person who makes my dreams come true.

I was down to last two 4 packs of nouvelle, Andrex long gone, so topped up my stash with few Superdrug quilted 9 pack for £2 in the week. I can't remember the last time I didn't have a loo roll tower.
