Im going to be a party pooper here and not very popular. I am also glad you are ok Scamps, I would wish no-one any harm.

The facts are it costs £40,000 to keep a prisoner in jail for a year. As a taxpayer I object to that :( people are saying you are honest and hope you learnt your lesson? But did you? You were banned already but you flouted that and still drove......you weren't just naughty. you knew what you were doing. People here would feel different if they had a bump with an un-insured driver?

Im sorry, it may be the lawyer in me but I don't think its ok :( at all. I have nothing against you personally but I do object to the way you have behaved.

    Sorry :(

Don't be sorry, FC. That was my point entirely. I guess we all make mistakes though! Some worse than others. It's completely unacceptable however. :(
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

OK...so I knew this moment would happen at some point..I just didnt know when.
DS1 is 16 almost 17 [...] ...but again therein lies the question of what is acceptable to take and in what quantity.[...]

Hmm, at 16 it was 24 cans of Lynx Lager (4%). at 17, I think I'd progressed on to 70cl of Vodka or any other 37.5% spirit.

Get him to play 21s - I never let anyone leave my parties until they've hurled :D

Hope he has a great time.

Bless him...perhaps I dont have too much to worry about, his suggestion was 4 bottles of carling zest at 2.8%...

I have bought a 12 bottle box but only because it was £5 as opposed to £2.50 for a 4 pack ...time will tell, and I will report back on Sunday how it goes either way.

I'm glad you got my point entirely ( I've been a student [for 8 years!] and a party thrower on many occasions). It really doesn't matter what he takes.

I wouldn't be seen dead taking Carling Zest, although I do still have 6 cases in the shed to get through. So hats off to your lad for being sensible. My DD2 who has just started uni is the same. She'd rather have a coke but she does like a Bailey's every now and then.

She amazed me at the last party, though. The only person, ever, other than my best friend at uni, to keep up with me at 21s until we both called it a draw at 4am!

12 Zest will be fine and good on you. I really do hope has a great time. Memories to be made! :T

Hello everyone, feeling very gloomy and autumnal. My glitching mojo has disappeared, my nose is all bunged up and it's dark. I want summer back :(
I do hate it when a whole lot of Facebook people suddenly decide to put in an appearance on here out of the blue. You chose to stop posting on the elite for whatever reason, took yourselves off elsewhere, which is fine, but then hatch plans to suddenly make a brief reappearance, adding nothing helpful, then disappearing again until the next time. What is the point?

Who, what, when and where?! Let me at them!

To be fair, though, I think you're being completely paranoid! :rotfl:
