Surely anyone can post on here?
There are a number of people who used to be regular elite posters who now lurk but don't post here very often. You don't see them for weeks/months, then suddenly and "coincidentally" you will see several of them appear to say hello. This will have been planned on FB and will be down to something they don't like on here. It may be as simple as who started the thread (not saying it's the case for this thread, just using that as an example.)
I fully agree that anyone can post, just don't like the fact that this goes on. It's childish and silly.0 -

I do hate it when a whole lot of Facebook people suddenly decide to put in an appearance on here out of the blue. You chose to stop posting on the elite for whatever reason, took yourselves off elsewhere, which is fine, but then hatch plans to suddenly make a brief reappearance, adding nothing helpful, then disappearing again until the next time. What is the point?
Couldn't agree more, always the same names !0 -

My take on this.I think it's a question of where you draw the line again.
Going on some of scamps previous posts it's fairly obvious that his line as always been different to most that post here.
I think people's first reaction was pleased to see him posting and relieved to know that his health hadn't got worse. We all know what a rough year he has had.
I could well be wrong, but I thought he posted at one point that it was due to his health problems that he would have to give up driving?
No joy for me with the Aldi bread flours, in stock but full price. Got one anyway as a test as hubby loves seeded loaves. I also looked at the ready-packaged bread mixes but had second thoughts as I certainly wasn't going to pay 65p for a tiny bread mix that would only make 1 loaf! Apparently my machine has been delivered but hubby's waiting for me to get back from work to open it, rather than take the fun out of it by opening it for me.
Got two 25kg bags of potatoes for £5.99 each from the farm shop on my way back to work, it's the last time I'll be able to visit there without a massive drive! The extra weight feels like driving around with a dead body in the boot!
I feel like I'm doing a goodbye tour every time I drive round here now. New beginning tomorrow! :T0 -
