My first gig was to see Michael Jacksosn at Wembley in 1989. Waited there 4 hours for the show to start when some smug person came on and said MJ wont be appearing as not well :{. Luckily 70000 of us left peacefully
2nd gig was taking DD to see Boyzone in 1996 I think it was. Was surprised to see so many mums there with their DD's. Was a great atmosphere. Wouldnt take her to anymore gigs after that as her and her friend complained of ringing noises in the ears and as I suffer from that badly, just didnt want that to be a permanent thing for her.

Good morning all. Two months till Christmas :D:D

As for my first gig, I didn't get to go to one before I left home. My first one was Glen Campbell, absolutely amazing show, which was rapidly followed by Meatloaf (while he was still wearing tents!), again amazing.

We like to get to a show at least a couple of times a year, latest ones have been We Will Rock You and Jersey Boys, after Jersey Boys Blue came on and did a couple of songs too !!! We always get to any new Cirque de Soleil shows.

Forgot about Meatloaf. Saw him in Birmingham. I've seen We Will Rock You about four times and several Cirque productions - including a couple in Vegas.

Well OH not coming home from hospital yesterday was not an admin fault. It was because they wanted to try him one more night without non invasive ventilator and no oxygen. Joys of being hoh :o
Anyway, should be coming home today, so waiting for his next call :D
  • Thinking back now, I am sure I have a more embarrassing first gig. Used to go to a local Conservative club (not entirely what it sounds like), it was the only social place in the village. It might be my mind playing tricks on me but I am fairly sure I saw Brotherhood of Man a year or two before they won Eurovision!

With A giftcards, has anyone come across the following error when checking the balance please: 'Your balance check is failed . Error -Account Locked'

I have been checking as 9 times out of 10 the cards don't work at the checkout (even when the slot is working on self-scan, which is rare). I now know the balances of all my cards but a couple come up with the error above - I had one with £0 balance so it appears it may not be that.

I am glad I am now cashing out 3 V with PPal - I am SO fed up with these cards not working!

    Many thanks

    Re asda cards.
I got that after checking a number of cards. Closed down the page, cleared cookies and tried again without problem.
I thought it might be because I'd been checking too many at once.

    It's only a game

Not had A giftcards for a while so can't help Anon, hopefully someone else will know. Re cashing out on Ppal, is it just a case of adding the 3v to your Ppal account and then paying for stuff via Ppal? I was hoping to get a few cards on payday but am hoping there is a better way. Tia

Yes you just add to your PPal account - limit is 10 payment methods registered at any one time. You can pay for stuff ... like in my case paying £25 to Mrs Anon and then her putting it back in my bank account ;). Then delete 3 V Visa card from your PPal Wallet ... and add more .

Much faster way of cashing out than faffing about with A giftcards (which I am mightily frustrated with - I think my security keys have blanked the magnetic strip but strangely never any issue with any other debit/credit/gift cards ).
