My hubby won the pools years ago I forget how much but more than enough to go and live in Jersey and buy a business but..... His mum didn t put the ticket on  .She thought in her wisdom that he d never win and pocketed the money every week . One of his brothers got drunk on the thought and he was more angry than my husband when he found out lol. I dread to think how I'd have been if it was me.
However if it had have happened he wouldn t be with me now the lucky chap
Everything happens for a reason, you clearly was were the better prize xxxxx

With A giftcards, has anyone come across the following error when checking the balance please: 'Your balance check is failed . Error -Account Locked'
I have been checking as 9 times out of 10 the cards don't work at the checkout (even when the slot is working on self-scan, which is rare). I now know the balances of all my cards but a couple come up with the error above - I had one with £0 balance so it appears it may not be that.
I am glad I am now cashing out 3 V with PPal - I am SO fed up with these cards not working!
Many thanks
Anon
I can never get the swipey cards to work at SS without an SA opening the lid and swiping the card whilst the innards are all exposed

Saw Def Leppard live a few times at Birmingham & Sheffield back in the days when Joe Elliott really rocked tight leather! :T“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

Not had A giftcards for a while so can't help Anon, hopefully someone else will know. Re cashing out on Ppal, is it just a case of adding the 3v to your Ppal account and then paying for stuff via Ppal? I was hoping to get a few cards on payday but am hoping there is a better way. Tia0 -
My very first gig was very early 80s. A triple bill of (I think) local bands at Newark Palace Theatre - Parallex, Radium & Race Against Time. Thereafter my musical taste became somewhat eclectic and in the 80s saw from Howard Jones & Nik Kershaw to Genesis to Deep Purple!“Life moves pretty fast.
