Tiger, I am looking forward to Halloween as have a few cool food plans.
As well as Hot Dog Mummies, if you get some cheap white electrical tape and wrap it around cartons of juice, then stick some googly eyes on, they look like mummies too.
To make Jelly Worms, take a pack of straws, the bendable ones are best and fill up a pint glass with them. If you have bendable ones, then stretch them all and put the bendy bits down. Then fill up your glass with jelly and let it set. When it is, a quick rinse under warm water is all it takes to release the worms!
I like banana ghosts too, as they are a healthy option (half a banana then use 2 choc chips for eyes and a choc button for a mouth).
I also like to peel satsuma (other small orange fruits work too) and then cut a green peice of cucumber as a stalk to make them look like mini pumpkins.
I have also ordered a couple of Chefs Squeezy bottles and am going to give Pancake art a try with halloween shapes etc.
As well as the obligatory pumpkins (we had The Goblin King from Labyrinth and a Minion last year), I also will string up a Headless Body hanging from the tree in the front garden and will drop the Head onto the trick or treaters!
Some great ideas..
If you are very careful peeling a satsuma you can use it as a jelly mould. When the jelly is set you can carve the satsuma like you would a pumpkin and make spooky faces. Plus it saves on the washing up:)
Also a sponge cake cut into thin slices like fingers dipped or covered in green icing and a slice of almond or a white chocolate button on the end for a nail...witches fingers0 -

Just going through my rec s that I collected this afternoon and one has given me a very nice small APG
2 x ASDA Minestrone Cup Soup with Croutons (4 per pack... £1.00 £1.20
1 x ASDA British Parsnips (500g) £0.65 £0.69
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Strawberry Jam (454g) £0.65 N/A

1 x ASDA Fresh Tastes Casserole Vegetables (600g) £1.00 N/A
1 x ASDA Fresh Tastes Diced Swede (500g) £0.50 £0.49

Looks like they have the new M price, so this is now on Wednesday's info. Blooming A putting the price down to 65p and costing more on them than when they were £1 (and 49p in M:D:rotfl:). Really horrid price that 65p. I had mine, cheaper, for £1 each last week:rotfl:.0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Covent Garden soup £1 at A, but only specific ones (avoid ones that are £1.98 on a.com?). Allegedly all of them N/A in T. So that's alright as kept same match points (assuming M's system doesn't have way expensive price at the rivals). Kipling Lime Cake - can't see it on msm unless it's the Chocolate/Slime one at £1. Is that £1 everywhere? In which case, good to go. Kipling costing you a penny:(:rotfl:. So, the £2 cond spend, folks, it's only worth £1.99:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
EDIT: Now factor in the loss of 10p on the Kipling, as no 10% cheaper, as well as the loss of 10p each on the soups (as not getting 10% cheaper by going Avs M). Cond spend now £1.49? Even though you could not have got the Match and More or the extra More points in A:rotfl:.
Nice maths - I think I would still be happy with the conditional spend only being worth £1.49 in reality
at least my Morrisons conditional spends only expect me to spend £20 - my sainsburys ones are for a £40 spend and my Tesco ones for a £70 spend“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I wondered about the mushrooms - have they got bonus points on them as well?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Smirnoff is £15 in M :mad:0

Can't do pics sorry.
Excellent.
I've got some very ancient comfort I stock piled form the days when MOCs and clubcard points were abundant and some of the bottles have formed a solid lump, I think I need to be ruthless“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Has everyone got that the UHT Milk (S/P equivalent) has increased in price in M? As have the prices on the loose apples. I've now deleted them from the M list.0

Smirnoff is £15 in M
why is this bad?
could you do a sada v morrisons offer?
Does it have to be Smirnoff? Sainsburys had Green mark vodka one litre bottle yesterday one litre bottles for £15 and mysupermarket were giving £1.50 in cashback“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
