That's correct! I wasn't sure what pop things meant so hesitated to answer.
10 is the best amount :) even better if you get good substitutes.

Just a warning - they are not the nicest I mean yummiest things but for that price not bad :)

Will prob do a quick grab and dash in morning vT's and look for them in store whilst i'm there. Lets just hope I can find a nice SA at that time of day to take my £10.50+ APG opps :o

I'm glad i've been back tonight. I don't get much spare time at the moment, wednesday evening is normally my night out with my sis and our local darts team but we got a week off. Can't believe we'll have a trophy for coming second in our league from the summer season soon. :j

Well done :j:j I miss playing.....other than at home. It's good you're getting out though. Sounds like you are still very busy looking after your mother. I also hope your DS is still doing well.
I am also glad you came back :)

Nearly:rotfl:. Only just got back though and so much to get through - first these hopeless wombles to get rid of:

8 items (4 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Tesco

    CheaperSignBlue.gif+£0.90
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Teddy Fruit Gums (100g)£0.34N/A
    1 x Heinz Classic Beef Broth (400g)£0.50£0.89
    1 x Mars Bar (4 per pack - 204g)£1.00N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Milk Bottles (95g)£0.33N/A
    1 x ASDA Kids Mix (95g)£0.33N/A
1 x ASDA Smartprice Noodle Snack Chicken & Mushroom (7...£0.35£0.35
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Cooked Ham (125g)£0.45N/A
1 x ASDA Hero with Beef in Jelly (400g)£0.46N/A
1 x ASDA Hero with Chicken in Jelly (400g)£0.46£0.47
    5 x ASDA Simply Snack Apples (80g)£1.50:(£2.00
    Comparison total (compared products only)£2.81£3.71

I think S/P Cooked Ham (good price per 100g, but still doesn't seem as good as 400g vs £1.55 Sains. and that's a price increase there too:eek:) may be M Savers 125g at 61p vs A 45p.

:mad:T have put the prices back up on the Heinz soups again:(, no good! They don't even need PP'ing vs A, as 50p is way too expensive:rotfl::eek:. Just, avoid!!

Wombles are hopeless, but to be expected midweek I suppose. Main problem is people not buying enough shopping - I have someone who bought 2 wines at £12 each:eek:, oh no probably 2 for £10:( but bought other wine with it, sadly a lot of them duplicates, so...no good, not 8 different items! And the other one - lots of girl's nightwear. No good, we want grocery items. Other than that, hopeless 50p Mugshots:(.

I don't like those 33p/34p prices on the Kids' sweets, although at least all three of those are N/A vs everywhere. No use though - 3 for £1:eek:!_pale_

Evening. Been looking at the morrisons match and more app. Never planned a shop before, but think I understand it. It's a minimum spend of £15 but no minimum items?
If so the 4 packs of coke have an offer of 1000 points and the comfort has a 1000 points to. So if I but 2 lots of coke for £10 vs £7 at tesco, amd 2 comforts at £3.25 each vs tesco at £2 each. It'll total £16.50 and I'll get 9,500 points which equal £9.50.
Would be grateful if someone could confirm that I've got workings right. Thanks

Looks good to me,from the shops I have done, everything seems to be comparing as it should.

    I didn't get a single one :(.

Not sure if they were pure juice or 'juice drinks' and didn't get round to checking.

I've only done one Apg shop since coming back and got stung badly.

(Spent £19 on 4 fairy gel bottles that didn't work) so I've not yet felt brave enough to give it another whirl.)

I tried going instore to compare prices for a hd or cc but they all compare to different stores and it made my head hurt.

I'm still so very far from the old me yet.

    X

They are juice drinks JJ. They do pure juice but I don't know/haven't seen if or how they compare. HTH

I have just had the lecture of my life  about cupcakes of all things. I buy DS2 2 chocolate cupcakes every time I go to Ts at a cost of £1.50 for 2 . Today I saw a pack of 4 chocolate cupcakes for £1 so of course I bought them :D he's just ordered me into the kitchen :o:o to tell me......

'I think you have been duped with these cupcakes. They look like chocolate cupcakes, the packet says they are chocolate cupcakes but look.....when you peel the paper back they are just cake. No chocolate in the cake part, just cake (his face was getting very red by this point) so they're not chocolate cupcakes, are they? Then he said......' I bet they were cheap, weren't they?' :o:o:o

I tried to claw some sense of me being the parent by asking him why he was peeling back cupcake papers at this time of night :rotfl::rotfl: and his reply was 'what age am I?' '13' I said. He said 'Exactly, old enough to know a suspicious cupcake when I see one' :rotfl::rotfl:

I guess 2 cupcakes are worth £1.50 after all. I feel like a naughty child

Naught mummy, I do love your sons stories :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Thanks FC :)

I'm not really a fan of juice drinks unless pure cos of the dilution with sugar water.

It's certainly MUCH better than a soft drink though!! :)
