You've had a lot else on this year. Im sure you'll be able to take full advantage next year ;)

I've just had a txt from school warning to watch out for symptoms of Norovirus :( Strangely enough, OH rang me at lunchtime saying he was feeling awful like he was coming down with something. Hopefully it's just a cold. I'll be getting my surgical mask out........Im still not 100% and dread catching anything else

My little one (23 months old) had a very bad case of gastroenteritis 2 weeks ago. The diarrhoea was just shocking ..... As he is so young, with the risk of dehydration, and the fact he wasn't improving after 5 days the doc sent of a sample. It came back as confirmed Norovirus ...... It's currently doing the rounds at his nursery. Doc did say with it being Norovirus we were less likely to catch it as we would probably have already had the strain of it before and therefore immune. I just anti-bac'd and dettol'd everything. Luckily no-one else caught it. Really took it out of him for a good 10 days though.

been awol a day and away to catch up but first wanted to complain about COS - bought the Free baked beans (at a cost of 71p in T), submitted my receipt and COS have credited me with 50p - there's no indication that there's an upper limit of how much free is. Not happy

I did buy 3 packs just in case there was a multibuy like kitchen rolls while back but there wasn't.

You are right, I had hoped for one last visit this weekend but decided just to pack down. Our pitch is very dreary this time of year.

Found out our neighbours move over to other side when summer holidays finish and it is quieter, think that could be an option for us next year. It's lovely in the shade middle of the day in the full heat of the summer but this time of year you need all the sun you can get. They have a porch awning they have put up this time of year which is why I had not realised they had not gone.

I hope you do not catch anything on top of your "snif" as David. now calls it. I hope Mr FC doesn't go down with anything nasty and just feeling under the weather is as far as it goes!

Having been a member of this thread ( and the previous ones ) since 2011 and the DTD start I am a bit perplexed about something. I am back at work now so don't get so much time to take part. However am I doing something wrong in asking a question now and again about a glitch? It seems whenever I ask I get lots of thanks but no replies. I only asked about Extra Long Kitchen Towels and Erasers this and seem to be being ignored. Bit confused. I know I am not on here on a daily basis as RL gets in the way.

Hi rose I thanked you but didn't reply because I cant help you sorry. I thought someone would have helped you though.

Been marked as SPAM over there already.

But I found some last week when someone mentioned the BBQ was RTC, there were bigger packs for £1.25 so not sure which are now 62p. Think more luck finding these in a superstore than an Extra they seem to keep old lines for longer down our way. ;)

my friends little girl had gastroenteritis at about 5 months old. They said at one point it seemed like she was able to aim her poo to go up the curtains where it was so projectile
