Yes, But when you get a house or flat at the time you could not buy it. But later on in life you could buy it. I think that was a good idea but they never replaced the ones they sold. I bought mine because that was a option at the time. I don't think people should be allowed to sell them.
We did a similar thing in 1992 and got a 3 bed house and bought it 4 years later for £80k and paid £55k for it. Sold it for £115k 3 years later and bought a bigger place. The GOV should do a massive house build and do this again because it helps a lot of people get onto the ladder.

Anyway, you just bought one. There are people who bought one, then another and another which were all sold on.

I strongly believe that people should not be criticised for making use of government policy. But I strongly believe that government policy should be criticised….. so lets start with the funding our government is paying foreign multi nationals to set up companies in our country where they will make huge and guaranteed profit! Or that our children/elderly are not having their basic needs met, whilst we are committing acts of war on other countries!

Sale of council houses was a government policy, many people made use of this and good on them! Lets face it, more recently the government have paid for many a bankers very expensive houses…. rant over! Sorry x

Can you provide any examples of this please?

I was making a point that the individual should not be blamed… rather than trying to cause a debate.

But if you are personally interested, you could research into the nuclear power stations that are to be built in the UK.

Evening. Just to confirm the Gillette proglide razors I mentioned yesterday both compared favourably to T and also M. SEL for one was £4 and the other £5 however I was charged £10 for each. Took them to CS and got a refund and was told SELs were a month out of date!!!! Looks like I got lucky but still might be worth checking your stores.

Flash magic erasers were also reduced to clear in my store to £1. Would make a free filler against W. HTH

    Totally agree with you love.

I think it's highly unfair that some people for example, the elderly don't know all the tricks of the trade and end up losing out big style. Half of the elderly customers our authority sees have no idea what a "blue badge" is. They are entitled to this. There are also other benefits which they are entitled to but have no knowledge of. Most of them have worked all their lives and some have even served in the war so surely they should be made aware of what is rightfully theirs right?

Anyway, enough of my MARY J BILGE tonight. Time for crisps and pop and Twin Peaks season 2. :T:T:T

For those of you who already have enough hair oils and would like something different with a good return, these are two likely candidates for an approximate apg of £6.80 on a £10 spend A v T. Buy one of each or two the same and one trigger.

Council houses are for people who can't afford to buy there own home and not for people to make a quick profit. You should not be able to buy a council house at any price as they are for people who need them.If you want your own house save up and get the deposit and wait till you can afford it.
Agreed! (I will withhold my rant on this topic)
