Just a word of warning to anybody looking to sell their car to one of these "car buying websites".
C4-Car Uk Ltd or sellcar-uk.com - DO NOT USED THEM!
They con you out of deposit (told it was an holding deposit unless I cancel the appointment) over value your car and then knock the price down by loads with faults that aren't there. Then because you don't accept the offer they take your holding deposit and tell you to run and jump claiming you didn't describe the car correctly. :mad:


Absolute cowboys this firm! Do not used them ever!!!

    Sent a letter before action telling them you want your money back.

    They threaten you with a counter sue if you try to sue them for misleading you.

    I'd only take them to court if after legal advice I was told I was legally in the right and had a realistic chance of winning. So their threat wouldn't concern me.
