Been hacked of a list of credentials. The list came from elsewhere and SOME of those worked on Dropbox. (Same as some likely worked on other sites too). The list didn't ORIGINATE from Dropbox, and Dropbox ITSELF hasn't been hacked.
You could equally have started the thread as "Gmail credentials leaked; or Outlook credentials leaked; or Drive credentials leaked" etc. etc.0 -
This story is not worth the paper it is printed on ;-)
"Update:Dropbox has once again stated that their service has not been hacked but rather the list of credentials leaked came from a different service. And people are now trying to exploit that list by logging into different website where users re-used their passwords."
Even after that update they still keep the head line of that story...0
