online passport renewal delivery time 1 week

I filled out the forms online, printed them off and signed them, my wife signed hers, of course, and enclosed two photos each and sent them signed for last Tuesday.

The photos were from a photo shop that specialises in passport photos.

I got the passports today by special delivery and had to sign for them.

Who needs to pay extra for the PO to check the forms and photos? :D
over 73 but not over the hill.

My parents had a turn round time of less than a week as well just last week, no check and send and photos from a photo booth

Just renewed mine and hubbys online. Daughter took our pics and I had them printed at Asda, 64p for 6, came back within the week. Surprised we didn't have to get the photos certified, but so much easier doing it this way.

I also renewed on line, turnaround was 9 days and the new pp was delivered by courier. That's the way to do it!

Renewed my son's passport via snail mail. Posted by me Monday 12th Jan, received new passport today 21st Jan.

Excellent service. (No check and send extras or anything).
  • Wow I didn't know you could do it online, so thankyou OP.

    Amazing!

I sent off my renewal application (forms completed on-line and printed) at the beginning of December, and I'm still waiting.

Will be sending one off next week. This is always a good time of year to do them!
  • I'll hopefully get my application sent away on Friday to change to my married name (3 months prior to wedding) so hoping for a quick turn around as I need it for end of April!

You cannot do it online. You complete the form online, print it off, sign it and then post off with any enclosures. It is not submitted electronically.
