Feedback on eBay

Are people not giving feedback anymore on ebay?

I am pretty new to this (so feedback is especially important at the moment) and I have quite a few sales waiting for feedback.
I am a private seller and I find I can rest easy knowing the item has been delivered when I get feedback.

The feedback I have got has been all really positive so just wondered if this is common practice now?

As a seller I always leave fb for my buyer when they pay, you can only leave pos so can't see the point in waiting & maybe I've been lucky as I've rarely had problems with buyers.
Lots of sellers won't leave it until the buyer has left FB & are happy with the item.
If a case has to be opened for non payment, then I don't leave feedback.
As a buyer I only ever leave FB after the seller leaves for me, I figure if they want it they'll leave for me.
Buyers will generally contact you quite soon if there seems to be a problem.
I work on no news is good news & keep my proof of posting, in case it doesn't arrive.

Yes, that is what I have been doing all along - leave feedback when I have posted the item.

On getting feedback from the buyer, I know the item has been delivered (especially when not tracked) and I can rest easy.

Have experience as a seller for personal items and business items. My business account gets approx 50% of buyers leaving feedback and the personal account gets approx 25%.

I really would not worry. As they say, no news is good news. As said above, people will soon contact you if there is a problem. If they don't get in touch or leave feedback then just assume all is good.

Same as OP - new seller - sold about 60 items in past two weeks ( all clothing) and received about 50% feedback. I always leave feedback so well surprised others don't ! Lol
