I'm getting garbled text, mainly in signatures but on a few indiviual's posts as well. Example

This might be a forum problem (anyone else seeing this?) but I suspect it is my laptop. I recently ran several spyware/virus checks and also cleaned the register (ccleaner).

Suggestions?

    Yes, it's a result of a slightly misapplied word filter yesterday to combat the spam, which replaces offending words or characters with !!!!!s.

    Eventually it should all sort itself out restoring what should be there when the post or signature cache updates or is rebuilt.

    If you make a minor edit on your signature or post you can force an update or restore in most cases.
