Only in exceptional circumstances will they call the debt in. Generally this is only if:
1. You die!
2. You are made bankrupt.
3. You repeatedly and seriously breach the T&Cs
But in such cases they have certain legal requirements to follow when doing so.
All the above will be detailed in your T&Cs. For example, with Halifax it's condition 18.2
