Plastic covers for A4+ exercise book 240mm x 320mm

I wonder if you can all help.
I am a complete disaster with sticky back plastic. My son's school have said all books need covering in a protective cover.
I have managed to find some great plastic covers that slip over his books, but there is one frustratingly slightly larger book called a A4+ which measure 240mm x 320mm.
Does anyone know if a cover exists that I can put on the book instead of the dreaded sticky back plastic?
Thanks

I used to use wrapping paper on mine, and there was a roll of stick back plastic that I used to get from WHSmith, and would put that over the top.0

I found this website for librarians which has some good options for covering books, but I couldn't find anything big enough for your book apart from plastic sheets.

I agree with the others - some kind of paper (brown parcel paper maybe?) with the edges reinforced with sellotape or covered in sticky back plastic is probably the most cost-effective option.0 -
Does it need to be plastic? I use wrapping paper for covering books - thin cheap stuff isn't great, but I got some lovely thick patterned rolls from the shops for next to nothing in the after-christmas sales last year.
Other than that, brown parcel paper or even old wallpaper works very well!

Surely the son should be covering the books not the parent ?Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20

My parents used to cover our books with wallpaper0

Before my school started providing the plastic covers, I asked pupils to use any paper, except newspaper.
I used to joke that posters of hunks were approved. For anyone who didn't cover their book, I'd produce some horrendously patterned wallpaper.

Staples cover books for you if you take them in only costs a couple pounds and they do it while you wait0
