We are eating up leftovers from yesterday and they are yummy.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

I've just signed up to pigsback and paid off a little on a credit card.
Ooh, my first post too so that's got to be a start to clearing my debt.0 -
Today i have:
Stayed home all day - boring but worth it!
Put two new items on ebay
Sorted out postage for three sold items - bought postage labels online to avoid going out
Having left over chilli from last week (from the freezer) for dinner - homemade of course!
Intend to call tax credit people with final self assessed income and will hopefully get a refund
Also will be cutting and dyeing my own hair, £60 saving! I have really short hair and use a clipper on it. Yes even women can DIY their hair!
I am also on holiday from work at the mo - so i am actually getting paid to do these things!0 -
Hiya
Today;
1) we've all had sandwiches from yesterdays left over roast turkey.
2) only put £10 of petrol in the car for the week as this was all the cash I had rather than filling it up on the debit card.
3) Walked to the shops rather than driven.
4) Put change in bottle for whiskey challenge and 20ps in percy pig for to pay extra off the mortgage.
Every little bit helps xxJanuary budget

* brought lunch to work with me
* deliberately brought no cash to work with me so I've nothing to spend (particularly in the chocolate machine)
* got pasta leftovers for dinner this evening
* will be making spag bol and potato curry tonight for freezing, and home-made hob-nobs for my packed lunches over the next week.Debt Free Nerd #3100 -
Hi all, the floods haven't affected me in Plymouth, but my poor brother drove down from Manchester to visit on Friday. We were going to spend Sat & Sunday together, but it took him 18 hours to get down!
So I cooked him a quick roast yesterday & then he left
.
Yesterday I saved the leftovers from the roast (usually I would have binned them) and am having them for my dinner.
I am also having a NSD!
