Parking Eye fine received today from 14 July

I have received a fine today from parking Eye - we moved shortly after the visit to Nequay but they have found us and now stating we can pay the £60 instead of the £100.
We paid for a parking ticket on the day but obviously have no proof as it was 3 months ago. I have read newbies thread but unsure how to handle this.
Any help will be gratefully appreciated

'I have received a fine today from parking Eye'
- no you haven't ssb.
You've had a scam invoice, an unenforceable speculative bit of paper from parking lie.
Read the Newbies stickies again - several times, then post your draft here for a critique before you send it.
Do not ring them or include mitigation. It's irrelevant.
All you need to beat them is here, but you have to do some work yourself.
Newquay is noted for a number of parking goldmines for these bandits, so type your 'parking event' location into the Search this Forum space and read...and read.

So you send the appeal online to PE (the one in the Newbies thread). Job done. That will get the keeper a POPLA code and then they will win.Suzysnowball wrote: »I have received a fine today from parking Eye - we moved shortly after the visit to Nequay but they have found us and now stating we can pay the £60 instead of the £100.

Well done - but hang on to that letter! PPCs can be as trustworthy as a Michael Fish weather forecast! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
