Hi
Has anyone been able to claim PPI back from London Mortgage company. I believe Lehman Bros took them over in 2007 and now it's a company called Ascenden.
I had a mortgage with them from 2004-2007.
Thanks.

Why do you think you are entitled to your money back?0

I want to check if PPI was added to the loan as reading threads on Google it was added for most people. I never asked for it.0

Its a mortgage not a loan. MPPI is nearly always monthly premium direct debit. The lender wont know if you had MPPI or not unless you arranged the mortgage through them.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I read there have been some claims made against LMC as they forced people to take the PPI but it was added us an upfront sum to the Mortgage, I was just curious if anyone on here had claimed against LMC.0

In those cases, it is the broker that has liability. Not the lender. Although most mortgage brokers did not become regulated for insurance until January 2005. If they were a member of the mortgage code, then they would have to consider earlier complaints.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
