Why won't my Barclay card let me do a balance transfer?

Hi, Iv got the Barclay card platinum but there is no option to do a balance transfer from that card to another one? Any ideas?

Probably something to do with either your internal score or the credit feed they obtain from equifax on a monthly basis.

Barclays may be cutting back on balance transfers for commercial reasons.

Do you mean a BT from other card to Barclaycard?

I have about 4 Barclaycards and 3 through migration and always receive lots of offers from cash transfers to long balance transfers.

I suspect it is something to do with Equifax.

Me too. They offer me a new transfer rate every month. It's usually same offer with the date amended.

However, as grumbler suggests, it's unclear if the OP is looking in the right place. It they want to transfer FROM their Barclaycard they would have to do that via the card (issuer) they wish to transfer TO.
