Looking back over the last few pages almost all posts are moneysaving or finance related.
In the last day however we have

Book and Film club
Jobs on Fishing boats
Why? There are other websites for gossip, chit chat and general stuff

I only open items that interest me, and I have looked at none of the above.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
Come on quert yuiop you must have been tempted by "making broth"0

No. I thought those places were still illegal, but I've no wish to visit one anyway.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

So, it's ok for other people to make threads that aren't specifically moneysaving or finance related and not a peep about them (on subjects such as Blackmountain, Transfer tests, Garden shed near house, e cigs). Nothing like singling out threads made by one person is there?
I'm sure I've seen a post floating around recently that says that general threads like the ones you have referred to are allowed on the NI sub forum. If you aren't happy with that, perhaps you'd be better taking it up with the forum team.
I am interested in reading most of the threads that pop up in here, regardless of if they are specifically moneysaving or just general. If you don't fancy them then surely the easiest thing is to not read them?
Oh and I find it slightly amusing that you felt the need to make a non moneysaving/finance related thread to have a moan about non moneysaving/finance threads.0 -
Indeed. Just avoid what you don't like. Be like NI22“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

Cant believe the control freakery concerning what can or cannot be discussed. If the Northern Ireland section has built up a wee community of posters, whats the harm in talking about things other than the price of meat on a Friday evening in Bangor sold by a cheap plumber?0

A plumber selling cheap meat in Bangor you say...........do you think he would through in a couple of lamb chops if I asked him to quote for a new boiler?
Actually scrap the chops make it a ham shank and I can chuck it in my broth :rotfl:0 -
