Thanks again guys.
I want to copy UKPC in my email but I can't find their email address anywhere. I did a Google search and found nothing but their contact form and their letters don't have anything. Does anyone have that at all?0 -
moebius - we advise particular routes for a reason.
so, ccp from that #6 here:

Thanks again ampersand for all your help.
I have written an email to Steve Clark at the BPC, the DVLA and copied in all UKPC email addresses. I also mentioned that UKPC make it particularly difficult to contact them via email and that this is indecorous at best.0 -
I really dont get the issue with UKPC , they are one of easiest parking companies to deal with!
They just cancel tickets on the phone just like that if something hasn't been dealt with.0 -
Hang on, do I understand correctly, you sent it signed for, they signed for it, but have not acted upon it. If it has timed out surely that is it, game over.
Or am I missing something? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Can you clarify what you mean by timed out? The appeals process on the back of the NTK letter states:
"...please write to us within 28 days (beginning with the day after this Notice is given).."
The date on the letter is 22/09/2014. I wrote my letter, sent it recorded which they received on 01/10/2014. All within the 28 days, right?
My concern is with the fact that they signed for my appeal letter but a week later, I received a Final Reminder letter with no acknowledgement of my appeal letter. I'm not sure if the Final Reminder was sent in error or not.0 -
Ok lets clarify things here
Was it a UKPC ticket on the windscreen or one at a mcdonalds?
Dealt with by different companies0 -
It was a UKPC ticket on the windscreen. Not at a McDonalds.0

I expect the final reminder was automatically sent and crossed in the post before they dealt with the letter. No idea why you threw a Recorded Delivery charge at this scam when I think appeals can be done online and then you know they have it, and it costs you nowt. We never ever tell people to send a Recorded Delivery letter to a PPC because they can take their time signing for it, leave it at the PO for a fortnight, etc. And because this scum industry simply isn't worth a stamp.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks CM. I realise that now. At the time, I wasn't aware they could do that. I guess I got lucky with them signing it.
I hope the letters were crossed in the post but I have received a reply from the BPA asking for my documents. I'll continue to follow up on that, just in case.0
